William on a strike
On the 12th William and myself when up to Conniston Copper mines for a training day with SARDALAKES.
There was a few thick heads when I arrived as it had been there Summer BBQ the night before. But the kettle was on and I received a warm welcome as usual.
It was good to see how all the other stage 1 dogs where progressing, and catch up on the local SAR gossipe.
Mike was on form and soon through me in at the deep end to see how William was coming on. I must say that he was more himself and showed a lot more commitment to work that the last time Mike had a look at him. Mike was pleased to see that William had come on since the last time I trained with them back in April. He had a lot of good advice and after a few runs he put together another to do list, and sent me on my way with a “keep it up he’s coming along, come up for me to have another look in October”
